Bakers Rack Redo

The nester is at it again, she's hosting a 10 minute makeovers party. It's fun to see what everyone can do in just 10 minutes to make their home more beautiful without spending money.Go on over and check it out!I couldn't figure out how to link to her page so just click on the box below and then click on home.

So here is my before.I've been wanting something to go on this wall of my kitchen next to my table for a while now and so my husband got me this bakers rack for Valentine's Day.I want to paint it black and darken the color of the wood but that's for another post.It looks very bare right now.
Here is the after.I added greenery,a lamp and a few picture frames.I like to leave the bottom shelf empty for placing our casserole dishes when we eat to free up some space on the table.
What a difference.Thanks for taking a look!

Very nice! I love the softness your lamp gives to your bakers rack.

You know my belief...greenery, spray paint, and lamps fix everything! Very nice touch.

Very inviting- I think it was a good idea to leave the bottom shelf empty, that will come in very handy at meal times-
Thanks for sharing.

Great job girl! And aren't you glad that you don't actually have to fill it with baked goods?

Ok, that was supposed to be a joke but it's not very funny.

great job - one of my problem areas is my baker's rack, so I was hoping to see some posts like yours! I never thought about adding a lamp, but it really works! thanks!
