Outdoor Wednesday

I have been so busy lately I haven't had time to blog so I'll start to get back in the swing of things by posting some pics for Outdoor Wednesday hosted by Susan.Last week I went on a field trip with my Sara to Log Cabin Village. You take a tour through all these old log cabins and they tell you about the families who lived in them and how they used to live.

The village is surrounded by lots of trees, small bridges and brooks. It was very pretty outside.
This is my favorite picture.
I had to get a picture of this little guy.
Enjoying our picnic lunch.
The rest of these pictures are some of the veggies growing in my garden, finally! We enjoyed these tomatoes in my guacamole on Memorial Day!
Snow peas growing on the trellis.
Yellow squash and zucchini. My husband picked the zucchini before I could get a picture of it. I can't wait to make squash patties.
And some romaine lettuce. We are always eating salads so we planted some lettuce this year. These pictures were taken last week and we've had more rain since then so there's a lot more growing like our cucumbers, green beans and carrots.I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

I've always wanted a log cabin nestled in the woods. This just fits the bill!
