Brittany over at sweet nothings is hosting worship and praise sunday. All you do is share one of your favorite worship songs.Check out her blog to learn more.
This is one of my favorite songs I listen to when we are getting ready for church on Sunday mornings.
Here are some of the words.
Jesus, the most beautiful name of all names.
Jesus, the only name that brings healing and strength.
When I speak Your name, mountains move, chains are loosed.
When I speak your name, darkness flees,it has no hold on me.
Jesus, the most beautiful name that I know...
The words to this song really mean a lot to me because there was a time in my life when I was so afraid of everything,I mean I was just losing it!My mind was being tormented,I had panic attacks and going through a very bad depression after having my youngest. The only thing that gave me strength was to speak His name.
That's just a little bit about why I love this this song,I'll have to tell you more about it another time but it is Sunday today and Sundays are busy for my family;I just couldn't wait to share this song with everyone.
Oh and I think this song is originally from Christ for the Nations(please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)This version is done by Indiana Bible College.I hope you enjoy!!

Kathy
great song - wonderful message. there is power in the name of Jesus!
Another great song that I haven't heard before! Thanks for sharing it today....I love it!
Wow that is such a beautiful and powerful song! Thanks so much for sharing this, Monica! I'm excited you were able to participate in Worship and Praise Sunday! Welcome!
Looks like we have something in common. I struggled with panic attacks for over 4 years and the only "medicine" that helped me through it was that of the Lord! I am so thankful!
Have a blessed Sunday!
I haven't heard that song before...sounds beautiful.
Great song. I just love the words and what meaning they have. Isn't it wonderful that all we have to do is call on his name! Have a blessed day!
Love this song! I'm excited that our choir is singing it this Friday night. This song reminds me that He is as close as the mention of His name.
I've been in those situations where I didn't have the strength to pray, all I could do was mention His name, many times I could only whisper His name. I found out that He's there in those times and carries me through when I speak His name. Great song.
